Your favorite model goes live while you're not looking, and by the time you check, the show is over. Here is how to keep track of the models you like on Chaturbate – and how to get a notification on your phone the moment one of them starts.
Following models on Chaturbate
On Chaturbate you can follow a model from her room (you need a free account). Followed models are collected in a list of their own, where you can see which of them are online when you open the site. That works well if you check Chaturbate regularly anyway – but it means you have to open the site to find out.
Getting a phone notification when a favorite goes live
With the free NOW Live Cams app you get a real notification on your phone instead:
- Install the app on your home screen – on Android with one tap, on iPhone with three. Step by step: how to install NOW Live Cams.
- Save your favorites: tap the ☆ star on a model in the list or in her room. The first time, the app asks you to create a free Chaturbate account or log in with the one you have.
- Turn on alerts: open the ★ Favorites tab, tap Turn on and allow notifications. Tap Test to check that it works.
From then on our server checks every few minutes who is online. When one of your favorites starts broadcasting, your phone shows a notification like "model_name is live now". One tap opens her room.
Good to know
- Only when they start: you get an alert when a favorite starts a show – not for models who were already live when you saved them, and the same model at most once every few hours, so your phone doesn't buzz all night.
- Discreet: notifications never show pictures, only the name – they can appear on a locked screen.
- iPhone: alerts need iOS 16.4 or newer and work in the installed app (opened from the home screen), not in Safari itself.
- Android: works in Chrome, Samsung Internet and Edge, installed or not.
- Your favorites stay on your phone. If you change phones, add them again.
Alerts not arriving?
- Open ★ Favorites in the app and tap Test – a test notification should arrive within seconds.
- Check that notifications for the app (iPhone) or for Chrome (Android) are allowed in your phone's settings, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb is off.
- On iPhone, make sure you opened the app from the home-screen icon when you turned alerts on.
